Skiing with my son and granddaughters on Blue Mountain. Haven't skied in years so it was pretty rusty!
My son and 8 year old granddaughter at the top. She has little fear of the slopes! You can see there was lots of fresh snow from the night before.
Blue Mountain looks over Georgian Bay on Lake Huron. Down below is Blue Mountain Village. Lots of chalets to rent or buy. We stayed in a lovely chalet that my son and his business partner rented for the weekend. The sky was very overcast above the lake. Picking up lots of moisture from the lake to bring in the form of snow onto the mountain.

You are so blessed to live in such a beautiful place, loved the photos of your family.
It has been years since I was last up that way. But it sure is a beautiful area.
Never tried skiing myself - too chicken!
There are some nice cross country ski trails in the area too where I have gone. I still have not tried downhill skis. Getting rather late I think.
I bet you had fun even though you were rusty. I hope you weren't too cold!
What fun! It's around zero today. Just lovely out. I took a walk in the bog yesterday.
I love your photos, and the header is a great shot!
Thank you for visiting My World !
Now THAT is the way to enjoy a Canadian winter ... embracing the outdoors and all she has to offer. Looks like fun - although it has been decades since I have strapped on skis.
good that father and daughter can have fun.
It's wonderful to have 3 generations participating in an activity they love. As an extra bonus, you were out in the fresh air. My Grandchildren also have no fear - it's all fun to them!
Great photos of the snowy scenery, and the family!
