Outdoor Watery Wednesday - Lake Ontario Ship Wreck

Posted by Lorac Wednesday, 1 December 2010

I have always loved this old wreck on Lake Ontario. It conjurs up visions of Pirates on the High seas! I have visions of Captain Jack Sparrow swinging from the Crows Nest, brandishing a sword, whilst shouting orders to fellow Pirates down on the deck!

  2. It is sad as a burnt out hull, but a surprising sight to see, isn't it?!

  8. I know where that is, can't say I have ever thought of it in the way you have. Maybe next time I pass it, I will look at it a bit differently!!

  20. It doesn't look like it has been there long, at all!I never knew we had wrecks like that, so close to home!

  22. Old wrecks such as this tickle the imagination and urge us to make up stories.

  24. This isn't an old pirate ship, it's just a burned down floating restaurant thats built to look like a ship! I drove by it on the QEW yesterday and saw it and found the story to it!
