Sky Watch Friday

Posted by Lorac Thursday, 14 October 2010

Blue skies abound in this October. Long shadows are cast over cooling days with only the brilliance of the autumn colours giving a show of warmth!

Country lanes awash with sunlight and fall splendour.

Autumn colour never lasts long enough. Soon it becomes a scene of shades of brown and cold November winds quickly followed by freezing landscapes and crisp winter air!

Many more skies from around the world at SkyWatch Friday!

Thanks to the Skywatch Team:

  15. Lorac,
The Talbot is on Highway 48 near Bolsover. It's part of the Trent-Severn.

Sexuality introduces Death to Being; and indeed Life simultaneously. This is the profound Myth of the Eden. The work of the Serpent. Bringing us out of "blessed" Standstill. So, in contrast to the mindless pietism of vulgar Christianity, my personal "Christo-Satanism" should be given serious thought by the Enlightened Few, the Pneumatics, the 1% Outlaws. The Light Bringer must be rehabilitated, beacause if not, the All of it simply doesn't make sense: true Catholicism is necessarily Meta Catholicism.

  50. Lovely colors and beautiful composition, especially on the first photo, I like it very much! Have a delightful weekend! Ciao!

  51. I love the first shot with the fence framing the beautiful fall trees. Ours are starting to turn and lose their leaves. I love this time of year, but will miss the screen the leaves give us behind the condo. In the winter we can see the road beyond but in the summer it looks like we are nestled in the woods. - Margy

  53. Beautiful autumn day!

  54. What gorgeous shots of sky and trees! The colour may not last long - but it is spectacular while it lasts!
These shadows would be great for Shadow Shot Sunday!
